Aims of the Essex Bat Group:
~ Surveying, monitoring and recording local bat populations
~ Educating the public about bats, providing talks and bat walks
~ Rescue and rehabilitation of injured and orphaned bats
~ Licenced bat workers advise householders, architects, builders, church authorities, wood treatment companies and planning officers on behalf of Natural England
~ Participating in national bat surveys linked with the Bat Conservation Trust
